Who is Career Ka Dost?
Career Ka Dost is a career guidance and admission counselling firm in Nagpur, founded by Bharat Rai (Engineer and MBA from Symbiosis, Pune, and a Certified Career Counsellor). We have counselled 20,000+ students across India.
Who can book a session with you?
Students, parents and schools. Whether your child is choosing a stream after Class 10, preparing for NEET or JEE, or applying to Law, BBA, MBA, B.Sc or BCA courses, we can help.
How do I book a session?
Fill in the form on the Contact page, message us on WhatsApp, or call us. We reply on WhatsApp to confirm your session.
My child is not sure what they want to do. Where should we start?
Start with our Career Test (psychometric assessment) or a Future Blueprint Session. Both help a student understand their strengths and interests before choosing a stream or course.
What services do you offer?
Future Blueprint Session, DMIT (Test & Report Counselling), School Awareness Sessions, Engineering Counselling (JoSAA and MHT CET), Medical Counselling (MCC and state CET) and Admission Guidance for Law, BBA, MBA, B.Sc and BCA.
What is a DMIT report and how do you use it?
DMIT is an assessment used to understand a student’s strengths and learning style. We combine DMIT and NEMA AI assessments with a conversation about interests, marks and goals. It is one input into the decision, never the only one.
Do you work with schools?
Yes. We run School Awareness Sessions that help students understand career options and make better future decisions. Contact us to plan one for your school.
Do you help with JoSAA and MHT CET counselling?
Yes. Our Engineering Counselling covers JoSAA and MHT CET: understanding cut-offs, shortlisting colleges and branches, and filling choices in a sensible order.
Do you help with NEET counselling (MCC and state)?
Yes. Our Medical Counselling covers MCC (All India Quota) and state CET counselling, including quota and college shortlisting based on your rank, category and budget.
Can you guarantee admission to a particular college?
No, and be careful of anyone who does. Seat allotment is decided by the official counselling authorities. We help you choose well, prepare backups and avoid mistakes, but the final allotment depends on your rank and the official process.
Do you only help with engineering and medical?
No. We also guide students beyond JEE and NEET, including Law, BBA, MBA, B.Sc and BCA, and help with career planning from Class 9 onwards.
Should parents attend the session?
Parents are welcome and encouraged. We guide both students and parents at every step, so the whole family understands the options and decides together.
Will you push us towards expensive colleges?
No. We compare government, aided and private options side by side and build advice around what your family can realistically afford.
How much do your services cost?
